About the Service Administration

The Service Administration has the mission of Ale municipality to be responsible for support functions to core operations, both strategically and operationally.

The administration is divided into three operational areas:

• Property – responsible for the operation and maintenance of the municipality's properties and facilities, strategic local supply, project management for new and renovation projects, supervision, care, maintenance, and development of Ale municipality's external environment.
• Food – prepares and serves meals in the municipality's core operations according to applicable laws and guidelines.
• Operational Service – responsible for cleaning, janitorial services, the municipality's vehicles, and IT.

The administration employs a total of 240 employees, all of whom operate under the service committee.

About the Workplace

The position is located at Skepplanda swimming pool, which belongs to the parks and facilities unit within the property operational area.

Skepplanda swimming pool is Ale municipality's swimming facility, which also includes a sports hall. The swimming pool's activities encompass the general public, schools, and associations, as well as senior, disability, and rehabilitation groups. Swimming school activities and CPR training are conducted by the swimming pool staff.

Our intention is to make it pleasant, clean, and safe for visitors to come to our facility. In our operations, we focus on clean swimming, safety, and friendly service.

Job Responsibilities

The position includes lifeguarding, swimming school, and leading groups in water training. Job responsibilities also include kiosk sales, cleaning, and other tasks related to the swimming pool's operations. We offer a varied and independent job that requires you to take significant personal responsibility.

We operate six days a week, both day, evening, and weekend. Evening and weekend work is scheduled.

You will meet both municipal operations, businesses, and private customers, where you are an important representative of our professional and service-oriented approach. Workdays are varied and include both planned assignments and urgent service matters.

Qualifications

• Certified water aerobics instructor
• Certified swimming teacher within SLS or equivalent
• Several years of experience working in a swimming pool

Important qualities are that you are service-minded, flexible, self-driven, and have good collaboration skills.

It is an advantage if you have experience leading Aufguss (sauna sessions).
