We at Orkla Foods in Kungshamn are now looking for a Maintenance Technician focused on lubrication work, who wants to contribute to keeping our production efficient, safe, and reliable.

ABOUT THE POSITION

In this position, you will work nights and have a primary focus on lubrication and maintenance of our production equipment when the factory is idle. You will work independently at night and perform your tasks in a calm and stationary production environment when the factory is not in operation. The role includes both preventive and corrective maintenance as well as work with safety and improvement measures on existing equipment.

In the role, you will among other things:

• Perform lubrication, oil changes, and chemical handling of production equipment
• Work independently with planned maintenance activities at night
• Be part of the factory's chemical group and assess chemical risks
• Work with both preventive and corrective maintenance
• Document completed maintenance and technical measures
• Participate in improvement work, operational safety, and efficiency
• Ensure that work is performed according to applicable safety, quality, and hygiene requirements within the food industry

QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

To succeed and thrive in the role, we see that you are analytical, meticulous, and have a structured approach to work. You adapt easily when conditions change and have a natural service mindset in your way of working. Since the work is done independently at night, it is important that you are confident in taking your own initiatives.

Furthermore, we also see that you have:

• Knowledge of chemicals and chemical handling - experience with iChemistry is an advantage
• Experience using a computer as a natural tool in your work
• The ability to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English
• It is an advantage if you have knowledge in maintenance work, pneumatics, machining, welding, electrical and automation knowledge, as well as hydraulics

OTHER

The role currently has a clear focus on lubrication work and involves night work. We see great development potential, and our ambition is to eventually shape the role into a broader maintenance function during the day where lubrication and maintenance are combined.
