Region Västerbotten works to ensure that good health and sustainable development strengthen each other. We take responsibility for equitable welfare and for research and innovation to yield results.
Within the health and medical care administration, primary care, dental care, and hospital care are gathered in a common administration and organized into regional and local healthcare areas. In the local healthcare area of Skellefteå, the Emergency Department, Medical and Geriatric Clinic, Rehabilitation Center, Psychiatric Clinic, 1177, Center for Surgical Operations, and primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö are included. Together, these aim to provide good and close care.
Ursviken Health Center is one of four health centers in the northern area of Skellefteå primary care. The other units in the northern area consist of Byske, Kåge, and Morö Backe health centers, with which we have a close collaboration.
Ursviken Health Center is located about 15 kilometers outside the Skellefteå urban area in new, fresh facilities. We have good bus connections to the center, and just a stone's throw from our premises, you will find the bus stop.
We are a well-functioning health center characterized by an open work climate and joy at work, where employees enjoy their jobs and their colleagues. The unit has over 25 employees who work closely together regardless of profession, and we welcome new ideas, maintain a positive spirit, and always support each other. Everyone cares about each other's work environment, and together we constantly engage in a dialogue about how it can be developed and improved.
Ursviken Health Center has approximately 7350 registered patients. Work at the health center involves daytime hours and work on weekdays without weekends.
We are now looking for a nurse with an interest in or further education in psychiatry who wants to contribute to and develop our operations.
We hope you become curious and come to us with your experiences and personal commitment. We offer you a job in a workplace that is growing and developing. This position offers many opportunities for you who are engaged, curious, and want to make an impact.
Interviews will be conducted continuously during the application period.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a nurse or psychiatric nurse with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that makes people feel safe.
In this position, you will be part of the health center's psychosocial team along with psychologists and in the northern area's psychosocial team with psychiatric nurses and more psychologists. You will triage patients but also perform treatment work individually and in groups. We work with a health focus and continuous follow-up of individuals with mental disabilities. Together with colleagues, you contribute to developing work methods that promote patient safety, accessibility, and a good work environment.
In the team, we work based on the stepped care model in a clear patient flow and with a clear patient focus. You will meet patients of all ages as we work with both children and adults. The work is characterized by close collaboration within the team with regular team meetings. Your tasks include assessing and treating mild to moderate mental health issues according to Region Västerbotten's established care practices. Your tasks also include neuroleptic follow-ups on behalf of psychiatry. We also collaborate with schools within the framework of HLT.
Within the northern area, there is an opportunity for collegial support and collaboration. Group supervision is also offered together with other psychiatric nurses within primary care in Skellefteå.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. It is an advantage if you have specialist training in psychiatry and experience working in psychiatric outpatient care. It is also advantageous if you have previous experience working in primary care and engaging with both adults and children in your work.
As a person, we want you to have a positive attitude towards and see the benefits of collaboration with colleagues, supervisors, and other stakeholders. You are a present and warm person who, with expertise and care, makes the meeting with the patient better and safer.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability, such as personal maturity, the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize.
