About the role

Your task is to provide quality of life. You see each individual and have the ability to understand what each person needs. Thanks to you, those living with us can maintain their lifestyle and habits. At the same time, you develop valuable knowledge about care, service, and aging.

As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you play a key role in a team with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists who work closely together.

About Villa Vikhem

Villa Vikhem is a nursing home in the Vikhem area of Staffanstorp that has 40 special housing places and 20 short-term places.

• We have a collaboration with the company Ung Omsorg. This means that a team of young people aged 14–18 visits us on weekends and holidays. Ung Omsorg organizes various activities to enhance the lives of our residents. • You have a group leader who spends most of their time working closely with you in the operations. Becoming a group leader can also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant. • Here we work with animals in care and have regular visits from therapy dogs. • We are constantly working to come up with new, exciting activities for our residents. For example, we have introduced VR technology that allows for experiencing different travels, adventures, or games via VR glasses. Your experience and knowledge

We would like you to be a trained nursing assistant/care assistant or have equivalent experience in elderly care.

Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and opportunities to grow.
