Fortifications Agency is Hiring a Business Developer

The Fortifications Agency is currently seeking a new colleague for the Business Development Unit.

The Business Development Unit is part of the agency's Development Department. The department is responsible for the development of fortification protection and the agency's development plan. The unit's mission includes initiating, implementing, and following up on business development within the agency's development plan, leading and participating in projects, as well as mapping, investigations, and problem-solving efforts. The unit consists of approximately 10 employees, including Business Developers and specialists in environmental sustainability and GIS.

Your Daily Life as a Business Developer

Examples of tasks:

• Lead and participate in development projects and other assignments, often together with cross-functional workgroups with participants from various functions, units, and departments
• Conduct investigations, mappings, and problem-solving efforts
• Prepare, formulate, and present documentation

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with an academic degree in mechanical engineering, energy technology, construction technology, or another education that the employer deems equivalent. You should also have several years of documented work experience in roles such as project manager, assignment leader, or equivalent roles.

You need to have a very good ability to express yourself in spoken and written Swedish and English. A Class B driver's license is required.

Experience in project design is an advantage. Experience in property management, construction, or civil engineering is also meritorious.

About the Employment

The position is a permanent employment and may start with a probationary period. As a permanent employee, you will be assigned a military position. The place of employment is Eskilstuna. Employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security class. A security check with a background check will be conducted before employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
