Fortifications Agency is Looking for a Business Developer

The Fortifications Agency is now seeking a new colleague for the Business Development Unit.

The Business Development Unit is part of the agency's Development Department. The department is responsible for the development of fortification protection and the agency's development plan. The unit's mission includes initiating, implementing, and following up on business development within the agency's development plan, leading and participating in projects, as well as mapping, investigations, and problem-solving efforts. The unit consists of about 10 employees, including Business Developers and Specialists in environmental sustainability and GIS.

Your Daily Life as a Business Developer

Examples of Job Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and develop the agency's work related to the agency's development plan
• Lead and participate in development projects and other assignments, often together with cross-functional teams with participants from different functions, units, and departments
• Conduct investigations, mappings, and problem-solving efforts
• Formulate, prepare, and present documentation

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with an academic degree in social sciences, economics, engineering, organization, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.

You also need to have several years of documented work experience where the following experiences constitute a significant part:

• Leading and coordinating complex/cross-sectoral projects, assignments, and investigations
• Experience in performance monitoring using quantitative and qualitative methods
• Good understanding of business management and organizational issues

You need to have a very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English. A valid driver's license (Class B) is required.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience in change management in a growing/complex organization with many stakeholders
• Experience in innovation and design-driven methods
• Experience working with project portfolios/project management
• Experience in property management, construction, or civil engineering

About the Employment

The position is a permanent employment and may start with a probationary period. As a permanent employee, you will be placed in a war position. The work location is Eskilstuna or Stockholm. An employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security class. A security check with a background check will be conducted before employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
