This includes performing organ extractions and sampling, preparing the deceased, and related work in the morgue. The assignment also includes contact with the police, relatives, and funeral contractors.

- Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
Meritorious

Your Personal Qualities and Abilities
To handle the work, both integrity and personal maturity are required. The tasks are both physically and mentally challenging. They include both fine motor skills and physically heavy tasks, which require good physical condition, as well as the ability to handle difficult events and strong sensory impressions, such as strong odors associated with death investigations.
We place great importance on personal qualities as the work requires a high level of quality awareness and good collaboration skills. You are a calm and stable person, attentive to the needs of the organization and colleagues, and contribute to a good working atmosphere.
The Employment
The employment is a fixed-term substitute position for 10 weeks full-time during the summer of 2026, based at the forensic medicine unit in Uppsala. Start date by agreement. The National Board of Forensic Medicine applies individual salary setting.
The National Board of Forensic Medicine is part of the justice chain, and we have high demands on employees' judgment and security awareness, as well as respect for law and order. As a representative of the National Board of Forensic Medicine, you follow the state value framework and contribute through your actions to legal certainty, legal security, and trust in the authority.
