Our Operations

Within the department of orthopedics and hand surgery, we examine, care for, and operate on patients with diseases, injuries, and pain in the musculoskeletal system. The operations are broad, including both emergency and planned surgery. The main focus is on highly specialized care in: hand surgery, fracture, prosthesis, shoulder-knee, foot, spine surgery, and pediatric orthopedics.

The hand surgery clinic is the hub for the hand surgery section. Patients come to us for various services including doctor visits, surgeries, casting treatments, nurse consultations, and to meet physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists. The clinic's opening hours are currently Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 16:00 and Friday from 08:00 to 14:00.

Your Mission

As a nurse at the hand surgery clinic, you will work with standard clinic tasks such as nurse consultations, pre- and post-operative care, as well as telephone advice and 1177. Your tasks will include wound care, venipuncture, antibiotic treatment, casting, and planning for patients' continued care. You should be familiar with healthcare administrative systems such as Cosmic. Experience with Orbit, our surgical program, is a plus. You will work cross-professionally and in close collaboration with professionals connected to the operations. You will also meet children with hand surgical diagnoses in our operations. You will become part of a cheerful and skilled team that supports and helps each other!

Your Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse with several years of experience in the profession, preferably with an interest in orthopedics. Experience with acute flows or other clinic operations is an advantage.

Your Competence

We value flexibility, good collaboration skills, and a positive approach with the patient in focus. You can work independently but also well with others. With us, you need to be able to adapt to changing circumstances, be attentive, and have the ability to reprioritize your tasks. As a person, you are structured, engaged, and positive.
