Summer Job as Waste Collector

Do you want a social, active, and important summer job? We are looking for you who want to work as a waste collector, who will enjoy driving a garbage truck and has a C driver's license and valid YKB.

We need to strengthen our team for the summer and are now looking for 5 waste collection drivers to start sometime between March and June. As a driver with us, your main tasks will involve collecting waste, recyclable materials, and transporting waste. You should enjoy physical outdoor work as the job is mostly outside the vehicle.

We work two shifts Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 14:30 and 14:30 to 23:00, with weekends off. We are honest that in some cases, such as under demanding driving conditions and on holidays, some overtime and evening work may be required.

Responsibilities:

• Collection of household waste along the road
• Responsibility for your own truck with daily and weekly follow-up, cleaning, and maintenance
• Implementation of HMS tasks for the department and the customer
• Participate in meetings related to the operations
• Follow the company's HMS and quality routines

Qualifications:

• C driver's license
• Valid YKB
• Preferably experience in transport and heavy traffic.
• Advantageous if you are technical and can perform simple repairs on the truck
• Good Swedish – spoken and written
