About the Company
You will be working for a well-established and reputable company in the transport and logistics industry. The business is international and characterized by high quality standards, structured working methods, and a clear focus on customer benefit. Here, you will find a professional environment with good development opportunities and a long-term commitment to sustainable transport and efficient flows. More information about the company will be provided during a phone interview.
About the Role
As a traffic manager, you will work in a team that handles time-critical and prioritized transports within international flows. The focus is on road transport within Europe, where you will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and coordinating to ensure that deliveries are made according to set timelines and quality requirements.
The role involves a great deal of personal responsibility and requires you to be structured, communicative, and solution-oriented. You will work closely with both internal functions and external parties and play an important role in quickly managing deviations when circumstances change.
You will be part of a close-knit team with high engagement where collaboration, accountability, and development are central parts of daily life.
Your tasks will include:
- Daily load planning of goods
- Planning of trucks and coordination of intermodal transports
- Close communication with drivers, carriers, and customers via email and phone
- Monitoring of deliveries according to internal procedures
- Registration and reporting of transports in Excel and customer-specific systems
- Ensuring that deliveries are made according to planned time slots
- Participation in weekly team meetings and KPI follow-ups
This is a role that requires a significant amount of responsibility, precision, and the ability to make independent decisions under pressure.
The position is a consulting assignment where you will be employed by Emploid and leased as a consultant to our client, with good opportunities for permanent employment thereafter.
About You
To succeed in this role, you are self-driven, proactive, and have an easy time understanding new flows and working methods. You have a good understanding of what punctuality and quality mean in the transport chain and are confident in prioritizing when multiple things are happening simultaneously.
You thrive in a role where you combine analysis with a lot of communication and where collaboration is crucial for the outcome. At the same time, you are not afraid to take responsibility and drive your work forward independently.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience in the transport/logistics industry or a similar role
- Good computer skills and is comfortable with Excel
- Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English
- Understanding of what is required in a role where you independently manage time-critical flows
