Job Responsibilities
Become our new operations technician and contribute to a healthier Gothenburg!
Are you a driven and meticulous operations technician ready for the next exciting step in your career? Do you want a job that truly makes a difference, where you contribute to the health and well-being of residents every day? Then you are the one we are looking for for this important role as an operations technician!
With us, you will have the chance to work with our swimming, ice, and sports halls throughout Gothenburg.
You will work independently with great responsibility, but also be a valuable part of a competent team of about 27 employees within the Operations and Technology unit, which includes operations technicians, engineers, carpenters, masons, customer service representatives, and a mobile function.
As an operations technician with us, you will have a varied and responsible job where you ensure that our facilities function optimally. Your main focus will be the operation and maintenance of ventilation in our buildings. You will, among other things:
- Perform troubleshooting of the facilities and conduct recurring inspections and repairs, including urgent service interventions.
- Act as an orderer of services and materials and follow up on completed work.
- Manage follow-up and ensure that all regulatory requirements and safety regulations are followed in our facilities.
- Handle incoming incident reports.
- Function as a backup and partner to your operations technician colleagues.
You will be based at one of our facilities, but you will work mobile across the city. Working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has completed high school education and further training as an operations or property technician in ventilation. You need to have a B driver's license to reach our facilities. Previous experience working with similar facilities, such as the operation of substations, ventilation systems, as well as swimming and sports halls, is an advantage. We also prefer candidates with experience in working with regulatory requirements. If you have basic training in electrical safety or are a trained electrician, that is a plus.
We place great importance on your personal competencies, where we see that you are responsible and meticulous in your work. You perform your work to the best of your ability, ensure that the work is done correctly, complete tasks on time, and follow up on results. The position requires good flexibility and the ability to switch between a holistic view and detail-oriented tasks, as well as a willingness to face new challenges. You have good collaboration skills and contribute positively to the team, as well as in other collaborations in your professional role. Within the scope of your assignment, you can also act independently based on what situations require. Your communication skills are also an important part of this role, where you convey information and ideas clearly both verbally and in writing, ensuring that your message gets across.
Welcome with your application!
