Description
The Operational Leasing business unit offers full-service leasing to the City of Gothenburg's departments and companies.
Our vehicle fleet consists of approximately 2,300 vehicles for which we handle all service and maintenance. The business unit consists of three departments: Fleet Management, Service Market, and Rental Car Center, and we are a total of 47 employees.

We are now seeking an experienced Production Leader for our service workshop who wants to lead and coach our employees and help develop our service workshop.
Responsibilities
We are looking for someone who has a drive and passion for building good teamwork and creating high engagement. By involving your employees and putting them in focus, you create engagement and motivation to achieve set goals both in daily work and in development work, allowing both the individual and the group to develop. In your work, you coach, lead, and help employees grow and develop in their roles as vehicle technicians, guiding and mentoring them in complex tasks as needed. We seek someone with inclusive leadership who strives to be a role model and support for our employees.
As the workshop manager, you are responsible for leading the work in the service workshop productively and ensuring that the quality of completed work is high, planning, and prioritizing customer assignments with a primary focus on customer satisfaction.
Since you have daily customer contact, it is important that you maintain a high level of service, are trustworthy, and actively work on developing and nurturing our customer relationships. You have a structured way of working and carry out tasks and changes as agreed.
Your responsibilities include ensuring that methods and standards are followed regarding safety, quality, health, and the environment. You work on developing workflows and measuring and following up on goals while acting on deviations. The job involves making decisions on daily matters concerning the work in the service workshop.
You also have personnel responsibility and are part of the local management team for the Service Market, reporting to our Service Market Manager.
As a workshop manager with us, you will have a varied job with both freedom and great responsibility.
Qualifications
Who are you?
We believe you are a vehicle technician at heart or have worked in the industry for many years, building up solid experience that you would like to share and see others grow and develop. You have worked for several years in leadership roles and developed good leadership qualities that promote collaboration and good team spirit.
You are as good at listening as you are at speaking, and of course, you have a high energy level. Satisfied employees and high customer satisfaction are our focus. It is important that you are unpretentious in your demeanor.
- At least 8 years of documented work experience in vehicle technology and work in a service workshop
- At least 3 years of documented work experience as a supervisor or team leader
- Very good leadership qualities; we want you to be an experienced leader, preferably with some training to rely on
- Very good industry knowledge
- Very good vehicle technical competence for light vehicles
- Good knowledge of several different car brands
- Good experience and competence with various types of diagnostic tools and vehicle-related IT systems
- Very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English
- Good computer skills.
- A valid driver's license (including manual transmission) is required
