Job Responsibilities
As an employee, your primary task is to provide support, motivation, and care to our clients. We work health-promoting with the aim of strengthening the individual's own abilities and ensuring that everyone who receives our support feels secure in staying in their home.
Participation, development, and community are key words for us, where continuous improvements create conditions for good quality. We work with welfare technology aimed at increasing security, participation, and independence for our clients.
Your tasks include personal care, assisting with household chores in clients' homes, managing medications and wound dressings, documentation, case management tasks, as well as social and physical activities together with our clients. We work in teams, which means that many different professional groups have a common goal of creating a good quality of life for our clients.
You will currently be placed at Husum Home Care. We also collaborate with nearby areas.
We offer you a meaningful job where you have the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge in palliative care, dementia, rehabilitative approaches, and transfer techniques.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a certified nursing assistant or has other education or experience that the employer deems sufficient. We would like you to have further education in elderly care and/or dementia or have an educational focus on psychiatry. Experience working in healthcare and social services is an advantage.
It is important that you enjoy and thrive in working with people, and that you are flexible and receptive to new ideas and working methods.
For the job, sufficient knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form is required to communicate with clients, perform care documentation, and obtain medication delegation.
A valid driver's license, category B, and access to a personal vehicle are required.

Approximately 2500 employees work in the welfare administration. During the interview, we will conduct an identity check and verify citizenship. Accepted documents are Passport, International ID card, Driver's license + personal certificate from the tax office, or other ID documents that strengthen citizenship.
We welcome language skills in Finnish and/or any of the Sámi varieties as Örnsköldsvik Municipality is part of both Finnish and Sámi administrative areas.
In our municipality, a number of positions are placed in security class, so a security clearance may occur. These positions require Swedish citizenship.
