The orthopedics department provides pre- and post-operative care for orthopedic patients where pain relief and mobilization play a significant role in the care process. We are now looking for a nurse to join the team. The position is a permanent full-time employment (100%) starting on 2026-04-01 or by agreement.

Nurse for Orthopedic Department 14, Sundsvall

As a nurse with us, you will work together in a team to provide good care for patients. Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Pre- and post-operative care of orthopedic patients
• Preventive work regarding the risk of pressure ulcers, falls, and malnutrition
• Standard nursing tasks in an acute care ward
• Focus on pain relief and rehabilitation

Training will take place within the team with more experienced staff. Internal training will also be offered, and we actively work to strengthen competencies in orthopedics.

The job includes working day and evening shifts, as well as weekend duty 2 out of 5 weekends.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed nurse
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing

It is an advantage if you

• Have experience working in a care ward
• Have experience in emergency care
