HVAC Technician

We are now looking for an HVAC Technician for our operations unit in Borås!

Västfastigheter's operations units primarily work with the operation and maintenance of properties, as well as operational services.

The operations unit currently consists of HVAC technicians, energy optimizers, and an operations manager. We are distributed across different competencies, with a shared responsibility for the operations unit's results. This position is based at Borås Hospital.

Job Description

In the role of HVAC technician, your primary responsibility will be the supervision and maintenance of our HVAC technical systems such as water supply, heating, cooling, medical gases, drainage issues, etc. You will plan, monitor, and carry out operations and maintenance within your area of responsibility, together with others in the HVAC group. You will have technical support from colleagues and our technical managers, as well as the HVAC Coordinator. In addition, administration and documentation are also important parts of the tasks. Naturally, you will also perform other tasks that are part of our overall mission in the area of operations and service.

You will also eventually be part of the HVAC group's on-call duty, which means that work will occur outside regular working hours, but you will start from home. The response time during on-call duty is 1 hour, even in tough weather conditions.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we prefer that you are a person with a customer-oriented work approach and you should be comfortable with both collaboration and independent work, as well as understanding the importance of service and contact with our tenants.

Furthermore, we also prefer that you:

• Have education at the high school level or equivalent, preferably in property management or HVAC
• Master Swedish in speech and writing
• Have good computer skills in the Office suite and experience working with digital tools
• Have a B driver's license

It is an advantage if you have knowledge in control, ventilation, overarching property systems, cooling competence, and other property technical areas within HVAC. It is also an advantage if you have worked in hospitals, municipalities, or larger property companies.
