Chefs Needed in Falu Municipality

We are currently looking for several chefs to be placed within nutrition and cleaning in the internal chef pool.

Eating habits and attitudes towards food are often established at a young age. Good and nutritious food provides a solid foundation for development and a healthy, active life. Meals of good quality are important for enhancing children's and young people's opportunities for learning and benefiting from educational activities. We who are employed in nutrition and cleaning work to ensure that children and students are offered good and nutritious food, prepared with great care.

In Falu Municipality, we want everyone to be able to support themselves on their salary, which is why we offer full-time employment to all. This means that our positions often consist not only of kitchen work but also cleaning, as we work integrated with nutrition and cleaning.

Job Responsibilities

As an employee in our pool, you will staff nutrition and cleaning based on need. You will work from your home and receive your daily bookings from our staffing planners who allocate the day's shifts.

The work is carried out in both reception and production kitchens and includes tasks such as preparing breakfast and snacks, receiving cold and hot meals, preparing lunch, cleaning, dishwashing, and documenting self-control according to Haccp.

If necessary, several different placements may be relevant on the same day. Cleaning assignments are also included in the position. The role often involves working alone.

Employment in our internal pool is an entry point into our organization that provides you with extensive knowledge about our operations while allowing you to build your own networks; the employment may later lead to a permanent placement.

Qualifications

The following is required for the role:

• Education in large-scale kitchen/restaurant or professional experience deemed equivalent by the employer
• Basic IT skills are required to manage our ordering systems, smartphones, and personnel systems, as well as to communicate digitally via email, chat, and teams.
• A driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are required, as the area is geographically large and workplaces vary from day to day.
• Since part of the work involves being able to work according to a job description and to independently provide written and/or oral documentation, good knowledge of the Swedish language is required.

You need to be flexible, quickly shift focus in everyday life, prioritize as needed, solve problems that arise, and be able to handle stress. We also see that you can work independently, drive assignments, and take responsibility on your own, as well as being able to collaborate with colleagues and others you meet. • Education and experience in dietary cooking (special diets)
• Education and experience in cleaning

Employment Conditions

The recruitment concerns 3 permanent full-time positions with the possibility of lower working hours within the framework of the full-time agreement. Start date according to agreement. Working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday.
