Operational Leadership Close to the Team – with Responsibility for Service and Aftermarket

In our Swedish operations, the service organization is a central part of the customer experience – and now we are looking for a present and engaged leader who wants to develop the team and business in the Västerås, Eskilstuna, and Dalarna regions.

About the Role

As Service Manager, you will lead the daily work of 11 service technicians in the region. You work closely with the operations, are often out in the field with the technicians, and play an important role in building team spirit, ensuring structure, and creating security in everyday life.

You will be responsible for:

  • Efficient operation of the service business in collaboration with coordinators who schedule and receive cases.

  • Personnel responsibility, including employee conversations, annual planning, and competence development.

  • Monitoring of KPIs, budget, forecasts, and profitability.

  • Good customer care through close contact with existing customers and participation in new customer visits.

  • Ensuring that preventive maintenance follows agreements and that warranty issues are handled correctly.

  • Working according to the company's routines, quality requirements, and occupational health and safety standards.

Competence Requirements

To succeed in the role, you need:

  • A technical background or very good technical understanding – preferably experience from field service, installation, mechanics, or industry.

  • Experience of operational personnel responsibility.

  • The ability to work in business and IT systems (experience with SAP and AS400 is a merit).

  • Basic economic understanding regarding budget, forecasts, and follow-up.

  • Good ability to communicate professionally with customers, colleagues, and partners.

Geographical Conditions

The work is based in Västerås, and we are looking for someone who lives in the nearby area. Remote work can be a complement – but we value the presence and collaboration that occurs when we work together on-site.
