The Social Services Administration operates on the principle that all people we meet have the same value and are unique. Within the administration, there are IFO, LSS operations, social psychiatry, health and medical care, home care, and special accommodations. Approximately 800 employees work here around the clock for our target groups.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nursing assistant in the Night Patrol, you will drive the municipality's vehicles to various clients, with the goal of providing safe and individually tailored care in the client's own home during the night. Together with colleagues, you are responsible for performing services according to the assistance decision, which includes personal care, supervision, medical interventions delegated by a nurse, and responding to emergency alarms.

The work is based on a scheduled setup and is carried out in accordance with the clients' individual implementation plans. Your tasks include alarm management, documentation according to established routines, and reporting deviations. You will use a mobile phone as a work tool to access schedules, approve completed services, and ensure good communication within the organization.

The work is partially physically demanding, involving heavier lifting, transfers, and movement, such as stairs to clients' accommodations.

The position requires flexibility as you will work in both Horndal and the central parts of Avesta based on the needs of the organization, and solitary work may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a trained nursing assistant with an approved nursing education.
  • Has a valid driver's license and can drive the municipality's vehicles in the role.
  • Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Is comfortable with using digital systems in their work.

Meritorious:

  • Experience working in home care and/or night patrol.
  • Experience working with individuals with dementia.
  • Familiarity with documentation according to applicable legislation and guidelines.
