The individual and family care services in the municipality consist of all authority functions (SOL, LVU, LVM, and LSS) concerning children, youth, adults, and the elderly, including financial assistance and labor market units, as well as outpatient care for children, youth, and adults in various forms.
In Skurup Municipality, residential support workers are part of the social services' outpatient care. The outpatient care consists of 20 people working with family treatment, addiction care, VINR, residential support, services for young parents, field secretaries, and coordinators for the Växthuset program.
We primarily work during office hours but strive to meet the needs and wishes of families to a great extent. Meetings outside regular working hours may therefore occur. Meetings are almost exclusively held in the clients' homes. The workplace operates under a flexible system and also offers wellness benefits.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are now looking for an additional residential support worker to expand the team from 4 to 5 members.
As a residential support worker, you will be one of five in your professional role within the municipality. You belong to the adult group in outpatient care, and we have close cooperation with the entire outpatient care based on the client's needs.
You work on behalf of the authority and follow up on these based on the purpose and goals of the intervention. We work in regular housing and sometimes with social contracts. There is a clear structure and process in the handover from the authority to outpatient care. You keep records of the case. We work in the journal system Journal Digital. Residential support workers work closely together, and in cases where needed, two workers collaborate.
Residential support workers work with a recovery-oriented approach. A recovery-oriented working method is person-centered, resource-focused, and involves collaboration between the client and the residential support worker. As we see an increase in cases where clients belong to group 1, we need to expand the residential support group with an additional residential support worker, and we would prefer that the applicant has knowledge of LSS. Education and experience in daily activities, low-arousal approaches, and clear pedagogical methods are advantageous.
As an employee, you will receive a good introduction and close supervision. We strive for high quality in our work and a pleasant workplace. External supervision is included for development and quality assurance.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is a social worker or has a social pedagogical education or other relevant education for the position. You have a professional attitude and a positive mindset.
You need to have an interest in developing social psychiatry in the municipality.
You should have a good ability to express yourself well and understandably in both speech and writing and have the ability to translate theoretical knowledge into practical action.
