Hudiksvall Midwifery Clinic includes maternal health care, contraceptive counseling/STI, and gynecological health checks in Northern Hälsingland. Northern Hälsingland includes both Hudiksvall Midwifery Clinic and Youth Clinic, as well as Ljusdal Midwifery Clinic and Youth Clinic.

We are now looking for midwives who want to be part of our team in Hudiksvall. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role as a midwife, you will meet women and families at different stages of life, where you are an important part of promoting health and well-being. You will work independently and in a team to provide support and care to women of all ages.

As a midwife with us, you will work with:

• health care during pregnancy, which includes medical basic programs, fetal diagnostics, health information during pregnancy, and psychosocial work
• supporting parenting and parent groups with childbirth and parenting preparation
• family planning at the individual level, which includes contraceptive counseling and STI prevention
• gynecological cervical screening to prevent cervical cancer
• public health work and discussions about lifestyle issues.
