In the meal unit of Sotenäs Municipality, about 30 employees work in seven production kitchens and one reception kitchen.

During the summer, you will work in the kitchen at Kvarnbergets Elderly Center. You will work alongside other chefs and meal assistants, preparing and cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the residents in the departments. Starting this spring, we will also prepare lunch for Hunnebohemmet and food distribution for home care.

Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who wants to work in a large kitchen with all the tasks involved, such as cooking, vegetable preparation, serving, receiving goods, dishwashing, and cleaning. We prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Working hours are during the day, but weekend work may also occur.

Qualifications

We are looking for a flexible, loyal, attentive, and quick-learning person. You have a positive attitude towards work and in interactions with colleagues, guests, and customers. We consider it essential that you have a high level of service and want to do your best for our guests every day. Since you will also be part of a larger team, good collaboration skills are required. You should be able to read and follow instructions and work in a structured manner. Personal suitability will be given great importance.

You should also be good at communicating and collaborating, as we see staff participation as an important part of the work. It is important that you share our values and work according to the guiding principles: openness, participation, and holistic view.

Good hygiene knowledge is a prerequisite for the job, and training in restaurant and large-scale catering or equivalent is an advantage. Experience in similar work is also an asset.

Conditions

Hourly employment with a schedule during the summer period. Scope varies. Weekend work occurs.

Selection and interviews will be conducted continuously during the advertising period.
