We are now looking for a forklift/locomotive driver for the Transport Department in Skärblacka who wants to work 2-shifts.

In our transport department in Skärblacka, you will become a central part of the chain that keeps our production moving. Here, you step into a dynamic and energetic work environment, where each day presents new challenges and varied tasks. Together with engaged colleagues, you will not only have the chance to deliver results but also to contribute to improving and developing our work processes moving forward.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Driving forklifts and locomotives to handle and transport goods both within and outside the area.
  • Loading and securing products, as well as registering items and their placement in our IT system.
  • Performing quality assessments of goods and making decisions on actions as needed, such as repackaging damaged materials.
  • Participating in a goal-oriented team where you rotate between tasks and support each other to achieve common goals.
  • Working outdoors in a varied environment where weather and challenges create variation in the workdays.

We put Safety First! At Billerud, we all share the responsibility of contributing to a safe work environment. Read more about our Safety First initiative here.

Qualifications

  • You have experience working with larger vehicles and feel comfortable in a role that requires practical skills and responsibility.
  • You hold a B driver's license and a forklift license, which are fundamental prerequisites for the job.
  • Knowledge of load technology, securing loads, and shunting regulations is an advantage, and we see it as a plus if you have other driver training, such as for locomotive drivers.

Personal qualities

We place great importance on your personality. To thrive in the role, you are a person with a strong safety mindset and a natural sense of accuracy. Collaborating with others is second nature to you, and you enjoy contributing to a positive work climate. You see opportunities for improvements in everyday tasks and have a desire to develop both work processes and yourself. With your drive and ability to find solutions, you contribute to a positive work environment and become a valuable and appreciated member of the team.

Here you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and take on an exciting and varied role in an environment where safety and collaboration are in focus.

Our values are important to us, and we believe that you, as an applicant, will recognize yourself in our value words: Care for each other and we keep our promises.
