At the Acute Care Units (AVP), you will have a varied job where no day is the same. AVP is the extended arm of the emergency department, and we care for a range of different medical conditions in adult patients for up to 24 hours.

We are looking for

We are looking for a licensed nurse. It is advantageous if you have previous experience working in healthcare, have completed an emergency care course, and have experience with Cosmic.
We place great importance on personal qualities. As a person, you are mature and flexible with good collaboration skills.

What you will work with

The Acute Care Units (AVP) are part of the Emergency Department at Sunderby Hospital. Here, adult patients are cared for who need extended care for up to 24 hours. At AVP, you will have varied tasks and a high patient flow, making no day the same. Together with a team of nurses and nursing assistants, you will perform both nursing and medical actions based on the plan established for the patient.

As a nurse at AVP, you will lead and distribute the work based on the established plan that the patient has upon arrival. We are looking for someone who is a team player and enjoys juggling multiple tasks, is stress-resistant, and learns to prioritize their work. You want to drive the operation forward and contribute to a positive work environment where everyone is allowed to be themselves.

Information about the position

We offer a permanent full-time position, with day and evening shifts. Start date as soon as possible.
Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
