We are looking for
You who are a licensed nurse with the eligibility to apply for specialist training and with the intention to pursue specialist training in surgical nursing. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. You who are applying see service and flexibility as a given, can handle acute situations, are interested in care development, and put the patient in focus. Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills and the ability to create good relationships with colleagues, both externally and internally. You have a positive attitude towards change, quality, and development work.

This is what you will work with
We operate in most specialties such as surgery, orthopedics, urology, OB/gyn, and ENT, as well as other external operations such as pain clinics and radiology. Working in the operating room is exciting and educational; as a trainee, you are meant to dive deep into the work of a surgical nurse during a five-week program. It includes some theory and practice. You will work alongside a surgical nurse. It includes some theory and practice. You will work with a surgical nurse to learn some of the basics of the profession and then wish to apply for specialist training! After training, you will then be offered a position within the AN/OP/IVA clinic.

Information about the position
The employment is a full-time temporary position for 5 weeks with the possibility of permanent employment within AN/OP/IVA. After completing your studies, the employment will transition to a permanent position as a surgical nurse on a full-time basis. Working hours include days, evenings, nights, and weekend shifts. Start date according to agreement. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
