Warehouse Employee at Ö-varvet in Öckerö

Ö-varvet in Öckerö is an established shipyard that works with service, maintenance, and production of boats and equipment. We are now looking for a warehouse employee who wants to contribute to a smooth warehouse operation and good goods handling.

Job Responsibilities

As a warehouse worker, you will have a practical and varied workday. Your tasks will include:

  • Receiving, loading, and unloading deliveries
  • Checking incoming goods
  • Unpacking and sorting items in the warehouse
  • Registering goods in our business system
  • Operating forklifts as needed
  • Booking transports
  • Assisting with urgent transports to various storage facilities on the islands or to Gothenburg

You will have the opportunity to contribute to improvements and development of the warehouse operations together with your colleagues.

Our Offer

With us, you will have a practical and varied role with many points of contact and an important internal service mission. The department has a new manager and is on a journey to simplify, structure, and develop work processes. You will be able to contribute ideas, find new routines, and make everyday operations smoother. We have good cohesion, and your work with machines, equipment, and the warehouse is important for everything to function optimally.

We are looking for you

We are looking for someone with experience in warehouse work and an understanding of how warehouse operations function. You must be proficient in Swedish and English. Since you will need to move between our various warehouse locations on the islands, a driver's license is required.

It is an advantage if you are familiar with computers and business systems, have training in 5S and systematic improvement work, and/or have ADR training for handling hazardous goods.

As a person, you are cooperative, solution-focused, and communicative. You enjoy working closely with colleagues, take initiative when needed, and help ensure that everyday operations in the warehouse and goods reception run smoothly.
