The Position
Do you want to be part of the Swedish Armed Forces' growth in Skövde Garrison and contribute to building a stronger defense? Then we welcome your application to P 4 Supply Department for a logistics job within supply operations characterized by forward-thinking and development. We are looking for someone who wants to work with both practical and administrative tasks within storage and material supply. As a member of our team, your first year of employment will be marked by training, both through peer training in Skövde and courses at other locations so that you can later work in various functions, including:
- Supplying conscripts and employees with clothing material, from underwear to combat equipment.
- Working with issuing, receiving, accounting for, and storing heavier materials and vehicles that the units need for their training and readiness.
About the Unit
P 4 Supply Department is part of the Logistics Unit in Skövde Garrison, tasked with providing the units with the supplies and services needed to train and exercise combat units.
Main Responsibilities
The workdays are varied with practical tasks both indoors and outdoors, as well as administrative tasks to ensure accurate inventory balances. Therefore, good computer skills are required. Initially, the work focuses on issuing uniforms to soldiers (equipping) and participating in laundry changes and returning uniforms (de-equipping). At a later stage, you will learn about various material systems. You need to have good physical ability and a positive attitude towards training; we train strength and endurance for 3 hours a week during working hours. Heavy lifting is common, and work is performed outdoors regardless of weather and season. The section's common tasks include inventory, customer contact, and collaboration with other sections within the Supply Department.
About the Job
- Participate in training to manage the existing material systems.
- Deliver supplies and services to all units in Skövde Garrison.
- Customer contact during the delivery and receipt of materials.
- Account for materials in our accounting systems LIFT and PRIO (SAP).
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Good computer skills and experience working in PC/Network (Windows environment).
- Good physical ability. Heavy lifting occurs, and work is often performed in outdoor environments regardless of weather.
- High school education or competence acquired through work experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
- Driver's license *B*
- Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing.

DESIRABLE
- Driver's license or certification for heavy truck with trailer.
- Authorization for support legs and counterbalance forklifts as well as wheel loaders.
- Experience with the Armed Forces' data systems such as LIFT and PRIO (SAP).

- Employment type: Permanent employment starting with a six-month probationary period.
- Employment degree: Full-time. Normal working hours are 07:00-16:00, evening or weekend work may occur. Work location: Skövde and, in some periods, Älvdalen shooting range. Travel in service occurs for both work and training. You will be assigned to a position within the P 4 logistics organization, which means you will receive training on what is expected of you in heightened readiness.

Skaraborg Regiment, P 4 has operations from Älvdalen in the north to Remmene in the south. The leadership is located in Skövde, where most of the conscript training takes place. The regiment's task is to recruit and train conscripts and personnel for two armored battalions, a heavy transport company, and a brigade reconnaissance company. P 4 is also responsible for a brigade staff that, in times of crisis and war, will lead large parts of the army's units.
