Do you want an exciting part-time job where technology and problem-solving are at the center? We are now looking for dedicated Technicians for the baggage handling system for hourly employment at Gothenburg Landvetter Airport! What does the role entail?
This is a unique opportunity for you who want to combine technical knowledge with practical work in a dynamic environment. Perfect for those studying or having experience in electrical engineering, PLC control, and regulation technology, and who want to work mainly during holiday periods but also weekends and quick shifts throughout the year.
The position involves operational work with shift schedules where each shift is about 10 hours. The department is open between approximately 03:00-00:30 every day of the week.
As a technician, you will be a key person in ensuring that the baggage handling system operates flawlessly. You will, among other things:
Handle emergency troubleshooting, alarm reset, as well as preventive and periodic maintenance.
You will come into contact with electrical installations, control systems, mechanics, and their associated equipment.
You will work both in the control room and solve technical problems in the baggage handling system.
The position also involves troubleshooting IT equipment at check-in and gates and self-check-in kiosks.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with good technical knowledge and relevant education, for example in electrical engineering, PLC control, and regulation technology. We consider it an advantage if you also possess IT skills.
We place great emphasis on personal qualities, and as a person, you are:
proactive, service-oriented, and reliable.
You are attentive and have an easy time collaborating.
You can work independently and make your own decisions.
It is important that you can get to and from the airport by car as the airport buses do not operate at these irregular hours required. An early shift can start as early as 03:00.
What do we offer you?
With us, you will have a developing part-time job where you work closely with technology in a dynamic environment at Gothenburg Landvetter Airport. You will have the opportunity to broaden your knowledge in electrical engineering, control systems, mechanics, and IT while working in a team that values collaboration, responsibility, and problem-solving.
