Job Responsibilities As Parts Manager, you are responsible for ensuring that the workshop and car sales have access to the right accessories and spare parts, to create conditions for efficient handling by mechanics, salespeople, customer receptionists, and high customer satisfaction among our customers. The role includes responsibility for both the accessory store, tire/wheel handling, and spare parts inventory, as well as responsibility for inventory and inventory value and minimizing obsolescence. Your tasks include turnover, occupancy, and result responsibility for the parts department. Furthermore, as Parts Manager, you are responsible for driving the department towards set goals and key performance indicators.
A strong focus is placed on leadership and responsibility for the entire employment cycle - from recruitment, management and distribution of work, resource and competence assurance, development and engagement of staff, and salary setting - to establishing and maintaining a safe and regulated work environment.
About the Facility & Role:For us, it is important that our departments & staff collaborate. Therefore, we are looking for someone who understands the whole and does what is necessary for our customers to have the best customer journey possible. We currently have 11 brands at the facility, which requires quick learning, accuracy, and good routines/processes to deliver quickly and with the right/good quality. We currently have about 50 employees at the facility, of which you as Parts Manager will have 4 parts staff. Clear but also flexible work distribution is required. We work as a team! Furthermore, you are responsible for the department's orderliness and, if necessary, property issues within your area, as well as being helpful across departmental boundaries in these respects.
You will also be part of the local management team together with the site manager, sales manager, and the facility's two workshop managers. You report to the site manager.
Key Competencies/Abilities:
Experience in spare parts and inventory operations
Experience in a business and personnel development leadership
You are skilled in logistics and understand the importance of order and tidiness in an inventory environment
Proactive work with our partners at external workshops
Ability to identify areas for improvement and take action on implementation
Driven to work on the development of both processes and work routines as well as the development of your team members
You have good general computer skills, and it is an advantage if you have knowledge of the business system Kobra
Driving license B and forklift license are required
