IT Technician for Service Desk Nuclear at Ringhals

We are now looking for an IT technician for the Service Desk Nuclear at Ringhals! This position is a consulting assignment starting March 31 and the role extends until the end of the year with a chance for extension.

In 2020, the local Service Desk teams for Ringhals, Forsmark, and SKB merged into a Service Desk that supports all three license holders. In the role of IT technician in this new team, we offer you close collaboration with the nuclear power sector at Vattenfall, continuous professional development, knowledgeable IT colleagues, and the opportunity to shape the upcoming nuclear Service Desk at Vattenfall.

About the Position

As an IT technician, you will primarily handle various types of standardized and non-standardized IT issues. You will analyze and resolve both simple and more complex errors by following the implemented processes (ITIL). You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our daily work while developing yourself by participating in various projects and assignments. A significant part of your role is to identify, diagnose, and resolve problems together with other support teams.

• Have at least a high school diploma preferably in IT/technology or a University/College degree in IT.
• Have basic knowledge of IT and its components (PCs, printers, mobile phones, software, networks, servers, databases, etc.).
• Have experience with Microsoft Active Directory, SCCM, and Exchange.
• Have experience with Windows-based products.
• Have experience with the SAP business system.
• Have experience in data administration (Tickets, Assets, Licenses).
• Have experience with BMC Remedy as a ticket management system.

You speak fluent Swedish and English (both written and spoken).
