The Ear, Nose and Throat clinic is a regional clinic and has outpatient services at all hospitals in the region. Many different professional categories work at the clinics, such as nursing assistants, nurses, doctors, medical secretaries, audiologists, and speech therapists, with whom you will collaborate. Despite geographical distances, we are close to each other and work as a cross-professional team across the region.

We are a small positive staff group that cares about a good working environment. We can offer you a fun and stimulating job. The assignment is based on the overarching goals of healthcare, where we aim to provide the citizens of Sörmland with a safe and smooth journey through care with properly utilized resources. At the ENT clinic, we have doctor and nurse consultations, outpatient surgical services, and day surgery. Surgery requiring inpatient care is conducted at Mälarsjukhuset in Eskilstuna.

We are currently actively working to increase patient safety and the quality of the work performed. We continuously strive to improve our working methods.

Your tasks

The work at the ENT clinic is varied and developing.

The tasks vary and consist of both patient-related and administrative work. At the ENT clinic in Nyköping, we receive urgent visits, planned visits, sleep apnea patients and PAP treatment, dizziness examinations, and flow measurements from the nose.

As a nursing assistant at the ENT clinic, your tasks include reception work, nurse visits, your own patient flow with PAP fittings and treatment adjustments. Reception with dizziness examinations or flow measurements. Outpatient surgeries under local anesthesia where you will learn to assist and instrument.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who are a Nursing Assistant; experience from outpatient work in healthcare is meritorious.

You are self-sufficient, structured, relate to others in a responsive and smooth manner, and have good collaboration skills. In your interactions with patients, you have an empathetic and service-oriented approach where the patient is at the center.

We are looking for you who have an approved education as a nursing assistant with courses in healthcare 1 and 2 (previously emergency care) or equivalent. In addition to your grades as a nursing assistant, you need a certificate of your professional qualification as a nursing assistant from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate that you were permanently employed as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
