JOB DESCRIPTION

Kriminalvården provides some open healthcare services, which means that all prisons and remand facilities have healthcare clinics where inmates can seek care. In addition to nurses, there are general practitioners, physiotherapists, and psychologists at the clinics. We are now looking for three licensed nurses who can work as substitutes as needed.

As a nurse, you will have your own clinic for assessing minor ailments, but you will also evaluate which applicants should see a doctor or another professional. This means you will work with both somatic and psychiatric healthcare for the inmates, assist during medical consultations, and administer medications primarily through dose dispensing and dose division. Documentation is currently done in the PMO patient data journal.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is secure, stable, and has self-awareness. You find it easy to collaborate with others and have well-founded and clear values. In stressful situations, you remain calm, stable, and controlled. You have great integrity and the ability to make correct assessments and priorities. You are quality-conscious and meticulous, and you have the ability to structure your approach and drive your processes forward.

We are looking for you who:

• Are a licensed nurse.
• Have at least two years of professional experience.
• Have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

It is advantageous if you have:

• A valid driver's license (B).
• Other language skills besides Swedish and English.
• A relevant specialization or further education for the employer, such as in psychiatry, emergency care, or outpatient care.
