We are looking for
We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant with good knowledge of the Swedish language. You should have completed the emergency care course (200 points) or according to the new curriculum, health and medical care 1 and 2. Experience working in a urological/surgical ward is an advantage.

You are an engaged and driven person with good collaboration skills who can also create a positive work environment. It is also important that you are service-oriented and have the patient in focus.
What you will work with
The work as a nursing assistant in the ward is both developing and challenging as the patient group is broad and varied. With us in ward 51, we care for surgical, urological, and ear/nose/throat patients. Here, we receive emergency patients around the clock but also have planned surgeries. The tasks include, in addition to general patient care, qualified tasks such as drain management, wound care, as well as sampling, patient education, risk assessments, and documentation in the medical record system.
Ward 51 is a surgical and urological ward that belongs to the area of general surgery/urology and division Regional Healthcare 2. With us, we have continuous competence development and training for employees. We place great importance on workplace environment work and as part of this, we have decided to introduce scheduled competence development with a program for each schedule period. In our ward, we support each other as colleagues and always strive to provide the best care for our patients.

Information about the position
We offer you a permanent full-time position with working hours scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends. Start as soon as possible or according to agreement. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
