The Social Administration is responsible for individual and family care, elderly care, and care for people with disabilities. We work preventively with support, interventions, and authority exercise for children, youth, families, adults, the elderly, and people with disabilities.

Our mission is to increase individuals' opportunities to live under the best possible living conditions and to empower individuals to live an independent life. We are a social service that is at the forefront of preventive work and the transition to an even more accessible and knowledge-based social service.

The Staffing Center is a municipal operation and is responsible for Huddinge municipality's substitute management within its own organization. Our mission is to staff and recruit hourly substitutes for various operations within support for people with disabilities and elderly care during short-term absences such as illness, vacation, or training.

We are currently looking for hourly substitutes for home care. Our home care services are spread throughout Huddinge, with offices in central Huddinge, Flemingsberg, Vårby, Trångsund, Skogås, Segeltorp, and Stuvsta. We are also looking for staff for the Night Patrol and Alarm Group that responds to security alarms from all over Huddinge Municipality. The job responsibilities include meeting our users' individual needs for care and support at home. You treat users with respect, focusing on making them feel safe and involved in their care. It is important that you feel comfortable supporting users in all their needs, including personal hygiene, cleaning, and shopping.

Your Profile

To be considered for the job, you need to be available at least three days a week. We have operations that are open every day of the year. Therefore, you need to be able to work varying hours that may occur during the day and evening, both weekdays and weekends. Since you work at different times of the day, particularly high demands are placed on flexibility. You need to be able to work immediately and be available at short notice. It is desirable that you can follow a schedule during spring and summer.

You who apply for the position should have experience working in care and support. It is an advantage if you have a B driver's license and can cycle. Especially advantageous if you are a trained nursing assistant and hold the nursing assistant title from the National Board of Health and Welfare, as well as experience in home care.

The work places high demands on initiative, collaboration, and problem-solving. You need to be confident in yourself and comfortable working with people who are in great need of continuity, structure, and care. We are looking for someone who has a professional approach characterized by a good view of humanity and good treatment. You need to have an understanding of other people's needs and feelings in the care tasks with our residents, as well as in the workgroup.

You must have a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

Good computer skills are required as documentation is done on a computer.
