Inlandsbanan is a group consisting of the parent company Inlandsbanan AB and its two subsidiaries Destination Inlandsbanan AB and Inlandståget AB. Inlandsbanan AB is owned by 19 municipalities along the railway.

Since 1993, Inlandsbanan AB has managed the railway infrastructure of Inlandsbanan from Mora to Gällivare on behalf of the state. The assignment involves maintaining and developing the Inlandsbanan railway. For this, the company receives an operating grant to cover the costs of operation and maintenance of the facility. Inlandsbanan AB works for the regional development of the inland and its municipalities. For the owner municipalities, the railway is a prerequisite for a significant part of the industry, particularly in the forestry and mining sectors, which are of great importance in these regions.

The bridge section at Inlandsbanan is now looking for a bridge manager who will be responsible for the bridges along the railway.

Requirements:

• Technical university education (or equivalent education deemed suitable by the employer) or substantial work experience in the field.
• Many years of experience in bridge work, either from consulting firms, the client side, or a contracting company. A broad experience and knowledge of different types of bridges is required.

Meritorious:

• Completed the Swedish Transport Administration's inspection course.
• Previously conducted main inspections on bridges according to the Swedish Transport Administration's methodology within the last three years.
• Previously conducted inspections on railway bridges and steel structures.
• Familiarity with working with BaTMan and reading and evaluating inspection protocols.
• Familiar with object planning and action planning in BaTMan.
• Experience in operation and maintenance planning and plans for railways.
• Experience in prioritizing TK3 remarks.
• Experience in procurement (design and contracting) for bridge repairs.

The employer applies a six-month probationary period. Recruitment is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application period has expired.
