Inlandsbanan is a group consisting of the parent company Inlandsbanan AB and its two subsidiaries Destination Inlandsbanan AB and Inlandståget AB. Inlandsbanan AB is owned by 19 municipalities along the railway.

Since 1993, Inlandsbanan AB has managed the railway infrastructure of Inlandsbanan from Mora to Gällivare on behalf of the state. The assignment involves maintaining and developing the Inlandsbanan railway. For this, the company receives an operational grant to cover the costs of operation and maintenance of the facility. Inlandsbanan AB works for the regional development of the inland and its municipalities. For the owner municipalities, the railway is a prerequisite for a large part of the industry, particularly in the forestry and mining sectors, which are of great importance in these regions. Development and investment in Inlandsbanan benefits not only the residents and businesses in the municipalities along the railway but also national growth.

The position includes two parts: construction site monitoring and signal management of Inlandsbanan.

Construction site monitoring applies to track and signal work and serves as the client's contact with the contractor in the field. Construction site monitoring primarily occurs during the frost-free period and involves travel for work.

The second part involves signal management to strengthen Inlandsbanan's signal section. The work includes reviewing the contractor's logs, approving invoices, and following up on fault resolution and inspection systems. Tasks such as creating orders and internal reviews of track and signal documents prior to reconstruction may also be relevant. Inlandsbanan offers professional development in signal technology.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in construction site monitoring and contract work
• B driver's license

Desirable:

• Experience in railway infrastructure, signal technology, and project planning
• Interest in technology

The preferred location is along Inlandsbanan.
