JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Design Manager at Infranord, you have a central role in driving the design work from start to finished construction. You plan, organize, and lead the design process and ensure that the project meets applicable laws, standards, and customer requirements with a focus on safety and the environment.

In this role, you are responsible for the project’s economy, budgeting, and efficient resource use. You calculate, monitor, and complete the design according to set goals and schedules. You coordinate the work with site management, subcontractors, and customers to create a smooth project execution.

You participate in market monitoring and contribute to tender work and business development. Throughout the process, you lead the work to produce quality-assured documentation and drawings from early stages to finished construction documents.

You report to the Business Manager for Power & Telecom. The placement of the position will be agreed upon.

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed and thrive in this role, we are looking for someone who is proactive, meticulous, and accustomed to navigating an environment where safety and order are crucial. You enjoy planning, leading, and following up on complex projects throughout the process. You find it easy to collaborate and build good relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, and you communicate clearly even in technically advanced matters. You are business-minded and solution-oriented, ensuring that the design maintains a high standard.

Furthermore, we are looking for someone who has:

• A degree from a university/college with a focus on electrical power or construction, or equivalent education/experience that can be assessed as comparable
• A valid driver's license (B)
• Good IT skills

Meritorious:

• Professional experience in contracting within the railway/construction industry
