Paving Workers Wanted at Skanska in Halland and Gothenburg
We are currently looking for paving workers for our asphalt operations in Halland and Gothenburg.
Skanska Industrial Solutions offers comprehensive solutions in asphalt, aggregate materials, concrete, infrastructure services, and rental. We are a wholly-owned subsidiary of Skanska Sverige AB. Our asphalt and aggregate operations deliver various rock products and manufacture and lay asphalt. We also receive, process, and recycle excavated materials and asphalt.
We need to strengthen our asphalt teams in and around Varberg and Gothenburg and are looking for experienced paving workers for spring 2026.
We are looking for both a new team leader for our machinery team and someone who wants to strengthen our team as a roller operator for the paver in Halland! Additionally, we are seeking several experienced employees for our machinery teams in the Gothenburg area.
As a paving worker in Halland, you will primarily work as a roller operator for our paver, but other paving tasks may occur.
As a paving worker in and around Gothenburg, you will work with:
- Paving tasks
- Rolling
- Binding
- Other paving tasks may occur
In the role of team leader in Halland, you will also work with digital work orders, maintain digital diaries, and plan the work for the asphalt machinery team you are part of, which is why it is important to have good digital skills.
As a paving worker, you are responsible for ensuring that daily tasks are carried out safely and optimally with high productivity.
You will belong to a team driven by great personal responsibility and a problem-solving approach. Your positive attitude, teamwork ability, and proactive nature are prominent traits, and you are eager to initiate changes. You thrive in a varied workday with a fast pace.
You have:
- Previous experience in the asphalt industry
- Class B driver's license and access to a car
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language
Meritorious:
- Previous experience and electrical training in the repair of construction machinery or motor vehicles
- BE/C/CE driver's license
