Want to be part of developing the future of traffic planning? With us, it's possible! Introduction We are now looking for senior traffic analysts to WSP. In this role, you will be one of approximately 120 employees in the Society Advisory section that provides qualified analyses and strategic advice in traffic and transportation as well as community and business development. You will play an important role in analyzing travel behavior and patterns to design well-functioning traffic systems using computer-based models and build strategic decision-making support together with our clients.

The role is connected to our national section Transport Systems, which currently consists of about 50 employees in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Norrköping, Uppsala, Gävle, Östersund, and Falun. This means that we are open to placement locations around the country. The section works with system-wide forecasts, analyses, and planning within mobility in early stages. About the role As a traffic analyst, you will be responsible for performing and leading various types of assignments within traffic planning and modeling. Your main tasks will include analyzing traffic data, developing and calibrating macro models, and forecasting traffic flows and travel habits.

As a traffic analyst, you will work in and be responsible for projects in collaboration with various stakeholders in both the public and private sectors. You will be involved in formulating project strategies, managing resources, and ensuring that the project is delivered within specified timelines and quality standards.

You will be part of our national and Nordic network of traffic analysts, which provides you with ongoing and good professional development together with others. WSP is organized nationally, so there is an opportunity to choose a placement location at any of our offices around Sweden. Qualifications As a traffic analyst, you are an educated civil engineer or have a similar higher education with a geo-analytical focus. You also carry at least five years of experience from a similar role previously. You have experience in macro and/or meso-level analyses during your studies and knowledge of some of the analysis software we work with: Sampers/Emme, Visum, Cube, and Dynameq. An important part of the role is to actively contribute to business development, which means identifying new opportunities, developing customer relationships, and helping to broaden our offerings in traffic planning and analysis.
