Our vision and goals aim for care of the highest quality, where the patient is always in focus. We provide healthcare locally and regionally, as well as highly specialized care to patients across the country and abroad. Our employees are our strength and contribute to knowledge exchange nationally and internationally. With digital tools and new working methods, we can simplify everyday life at the hospital and offer modern, accessible, and efficient care of the highest quality.

About us

MAVA/Department 356 is a medical acute care department with 27 beds from Monday to Friday and 21 beds on weekends.

Three of these beds are IMA beds with the possibility for an additional level of care. Our mission is to quickly provide qualified care, treatment, and nursing to severely ill and unstable medical patients. Our patients primarily come from the emergency department, but also from the ICU and other departments in the hospital. The diagnoses vary widely among the patients we care for, with the most common being chest pain, heart failure, arrhythmia, COPD, pneumonia, sepsis, and intoxications. To perform our work in the best way, we have the opportunity for telemetry monitoring as well as NIV treatments.

MAVA is characterized by a good and permissive social climate. We who work here find that we have an exciting, stimulating, and very varied job. We have a workplace with excellent collaboration and work climate.

We apply individual scheduling, which means you work according to preferences, with schedules set in ten-week intervals.

We apply individual goal planning for your personal development with individual follow-up at least once a year.
