ASSA ABLOY is now looking for a service technician for work in the Upplands Väsby, Sollentuna, and surrounding municipalities.

In this role, you will be an important part of the service organization. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on automatic entrance systems at customer sites. You will work from home with a service vehicle and plan your workday independently. You will collaborate with colleagues in service, sales, and technical support – together ensuring that the customer receives high quality and a smooth experience.

Work area: Upplands Väsby, Sollentuna, and nearby areas. Important: For this role, you need to live in or very close to Upplands Väsby or Sollentuna (approximately 30 minutes travel time within the service area) as you will be starting from home with a service vehicle.

As a service technician, you are the face of ASSA ABLOY and work closely with customers. You will, among other things:

  • Independently perform service assignments
  • Troubleshoot and repair automatic doors and entrance systems
  • Suggest improvements, upgrades, and additional services
  • Provide pricing information according to the price list or in dialogue with the service manager
  • Document work digitally and provide feedback to the customer
  • Ensure that the service vehicle, tools, and equipment are in good condition
  • Follow safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment

Working hours: Monday–Friday, approximately 07:00–16:00 (some variations may occur).

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Have a high school education in technology/mechanics or equivalent experience
  • Have knowledge of mechanics and low voltage (troubleshooting is an advantage)
  • Are familiar with digital tools (e.g., MS Office)
  • Have a B driver's license
  • Can speak and write Swedish and have basic English skills
  • Advantageous: experience with planning tools, e.g., FMP360
  • You are a problem solver who enjoys customer contact, responsibility, and practical work.
