The Health and Elderly Administration in Borås City works towards the goal that both younger and older residents in need of care, support, and service, as well as health care and preventive health work, should have a good life every day.

The administration consists of about 2,500 employees, of which about 700 work in the municipal home care.

Within Norrmalm's home care, we have employed service assistants responsible for performing service tasks such as laundry and cleaning, allowing you as a nursing assistant to primarily focus on providing good care and building strong relationships.

Working hours are scheduled for weekdays, evenings, and weekends, including holidays.

You are a trained nursing assistant with an interest in working with people. To succeed in the role, you are responsible and engaged, with the ability to understand other people's situations. You have the ability to collaborate, create, and maintain good relationships with both users, relatives, and colleagues.

The job requires that you can speak and write in Swedish. Our operational and documentation systems are prerequisites for us to fulfill our mission, so you need to have basic digital competence.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

A driver's license (B) is an advantage.

As of July 1, 2023, the title of nursing assistant became a protected professional title. This means that a professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare is required to hold the title of nursing assistant. You need to present the certificate for a potential employment. You can apply for the certificate on the National Board of Health and Welfare's website. If you have caregiver training instead, you will be employed as a caregiver.

We primarily intend to hire permanently, but a fixed-term employment in the form of a temporary position or special fixed-term employment may also be relevant.

Before a potential job offer, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be presented.
