Your mission

As a street technician, you play a central role in the maintenance of Borlänge municipality's roads and streets. You will belong to the urban environment business area, which is responsible for the operation and maintenance of Borlänge municipality's public outdoor environment.

Your tasks include maintenance and installation of traffic signs, supervision of traffic lights, traffic measurements, and speed reminders. The assignment also includes the operation and maintenance of parking meters. Other tasks within the business area may become relevant.

Your competence

We are looking for someone who has a vocational preparatory upper secondary education with practical learning and a few years of relevant work experience. Completion of the Work on the Road training level 1.1-1.3 is desirable. A driver's license (B) is required for the position.

We are looking for someone who appreciates working in an outdoor environment. You are meticulous, flexible, independent, and responsible. You have the ability to quickly shift focus and have a forward-thinking attitude.

Employment conditions

Permanent employment. We apply a six-month probationary period. On-call duty may be included in the position.
