Summer Interns for the Park Department in Hedemora

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Our park department is looking for summer interns to maintain our outdoor environments during the summer season.

Are you a positive person who enjoys working outdoors? Do you have an interest in parks? Then you are the one we are looking for!

We are responsible for outdoor environments where maintenance of grass areas, plantings, playgrounds, hedges, and weed control is part of the work.

Operating lawn mowers and smaller machinery may occur. Other tasks related to park maintenance may also be included. The work is physically demanding and is performed in all weather conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Driving license B for manual transmission is required.
• Ability to plan and perform work both independently and in a team.
• Experience and/or education in horticulture is desirable.
• Familiarity with machinery is an advantage.

A criminal record check is required for employment.
