Leksand Parish is now looking for cemetery workers for the 2026 season for Insjön/Djura, Siljansnäs, and Leksand cemeteries – four of the municipality's most peaceful and beautiful green areas.

About the job

As a cemetery worker with us, you will take care of the cemetery's green areas: summer plantings, hedges, plantings, grass areas, and other outdoor environments. The work takes place outdoors in all weather and is suitable for those who enjoy physical work and varied workdays.

You will be part of a safe and cohesive team where we value cooperation, community, and respect. We start and end the workday together and help each other create a good working environment – both for each other and for those who visit our cemeteries.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is responsible, present, and engaged in their work. The seasonal work means that you will replace regular staff during vacation periods.

You are someone we would gladly rehire in the coming seasons.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has an interest in and preferably experience in green area maintenance
• Has good physical ability and enjoys outdoor work
• Is cooperative, responsible, and reliable
• Has a B driver's license (requirement)
• Has experience or education in green area maintenance (meritorious)

References must be included in the application.

Employment conditions

Swedish Church's agreement, fixed-term employment from April–May to October–November.
