Who are we?

Vilbergsskolan is a K-6 school in Norrköping with approximately 340 students. We work long-term and consciously to create safety, study peace, and a learning environment where all students feel included and seen.

Your responsibilities

As a special education teacher in mathematics, you have a central role in the school's work to strengthen students' mathematical development. You work both closely with students and at the organizational level by planning, implementing, and following up on special measures in mathematics.

You work closely with the school's special education teachers in Swedish and in collaboration with lead teachers in mathematics, speech therapists, student health, and school management. Together, you work in a structured and goal-oriented manner to identify needs early and create sustainable special measures for the students.

The assignment also involves mentoring teachers in mathematics instruction and providing clear pedagogical instructions and common strategies. You independently conduct pedagogical assessments, analyses, and follow-ups and organize and prioritize your work based on students' needs and the school's goals.

Who are you?

You are a certified teacher with a special education degree in mathematics. You are confident in your professional role and clear in your leadership, both towards students and colleagues. You provide clear instructions and adapt your working methods according to the individual and the situation.

You show drive and perseverance even when the work is complex and requires long-term commitment. You take responsibility for your assignment, keep agreements, and work independently with good structure and foresight. At the same time, you have good organizational awareness and understanding of the school's mission, goals, and governing documents, and consider how different measures affect the whole.
