We are looking for someone who has a strong commitment to person-centered care and symptom relief. You are confident in facing both medical and emotional challenges at work and have the ability to create safety and trust with patients and relatives. The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse in our oncology department, you will:

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with current guidelines.
• Work with symptom relief and supportive care for patients at various stages of their cancer disease.
• Meet patients at different stages of their cancer disease, i.e., with curative intent, in palliative care, and also end-of-life care.
• Collaborate with doctors, nursing assistants, and other professionals in a multidisciplinary team.
• Have close cooperation with patients and their relatives to create safety and understanding of the care plan.
• Participate in development work and contribute to improving care in the department.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed nurse.

It is an advantage if you:

• Have further education as an oncology nurse.
• Have work experience from cancer care.
• Have work experience from other healthcare specialties.
