Programmer – Back-end & API Development

Milleteknik is on an exciting growth and development journey and is now looking for a programmer who wants to help build the next generation of services and integrations within power supply and security systems.

About the role

In the role of programmer, you will work closely with the further development of our existing Windows-based applications as well as the development of new services and APIs. You will help create solutions that span the entire lifecycle of the system – from sizing and calculations to connected products and planned maintenance.

You will, among other things:

• Further develop and structure existing Delphi code for PowerAdmin, associated app, and databases
• Work with C++ integrations with our embedded systems and products
• Develop and improve our sizing tool in Node.js and JavaScript
• Build new REST APIs from scratch for partner and system integrations
• Integrate real-time data from power supply equipment into our systems
• Work with troubleshooting, technical problem-solving, and advanced partner support (about 30% of the role)
• Document code, APIs, and technical flows

The work is done in close collaboration with both internal functions and external software and hardware partners.

We are looking for someone who has:

• 1–3 years of programming experience after relevant education
• Good knowledge of Delphi, C++, as well as Node.js and JavaScript
• Experience in a Windows-based development environment
• Basic understanding of back-end development, REST APIs, JSON, and Git
• Ability to quickly understand and further develop existing codebases
• Good command of Swedish in both speech and writing

It is a plus if you have:

• Experience with databases (SQL)
• Experience with system and API integrations
• Basic networking knowledge
• Interest in how software interacts with hardware
• Experience in technical partner or customer support
