Nygatan 6 is a housing facility with special services for five individuals focusing on comorbidity. A comorbidity profile means that the residents have both psychiatric illnesses and disabilities, as well as harmful use/dependency on alcohol or drugs, along with decisions regarding housing according to LSS or SoL.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The work as a Night Support Assistant at Nygatan involves creating a sense of security for the residents and meeting their needs in the evenings and nights. We are present in the group home to support the residents when they need us.

The job responsibilities include providing individualized pedagogical support and care. Helping the residents make their daily lives predictable and structured in order to strengthen them in their everyday lives to maintain and develop their skills. Care interventions may occur. Another staff member on duty with sleeping supervision is present in the facility during the night.

To succeed in your role, you are a person who:

• has knowledge and experience in LSS, preferably in neuropsychiatry/psychiatry
• has knowledge of harmful use and dependency
• has high social competence with good self-awareness
• views approach, trust, and participation as important factors
• is calm and resilient, has patience, and uses a low-arousal approach
• has good collaboration skills, both internally and externally

At Nygatan 6, you will be part of a team consisting of support pedagogues and support assistants, including a coordinator, who together with our management support and our HSL team - nurse, physiotherapist, and occupational therapist, form part of group housing area 4.

The job responsibilities include using various digital systems, such as LifeCare, ProCapita, Self-Service, and Appva, so it is advantageous if you are familiar and comfortable working with and managing them.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• is a trained nursing assistant, studied the Child and Leisure Program with a focus on social/pedagogical work, the Care and Nursing Program with specialization in functional disabilities, or other education that the employer considers equivalent
• has experience in LSS, psychiatry, harmful use and dependency, and care
• can perform delegated HSL tasks
• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• has good computer skills

You have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others and strive to present solutions. You are balanced, positive, and observant in your interactions. You find it easy to collaborate with others.

We will place great emphasis on personal suitability. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
