About the position

As a mechanic at our client's in Örnsköldsvik, you will be an important part of a knowledgeable team working with service, repairs, and preventive maintenance of machines and equipment in the industry. The role is varied and may include both workshop work and customer site work.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing repairs and maintenance according to work orders.
• Troubleshooting mechanical systems, machines, and equipment.
• Participating in planned and preventive maintenance work.
• Conducting measurements, adjustments, and inspections.
• Providing documentation for ordering spare parts and materials.
• Documenting completed work and reporting to the supervisor.
• Providing technical support and assistance to colleagues and customers.

We are looking for someone who

To succeed in this role, we believe you have a technical education in mechanics, industry, maintenance, or equivalent work experience. You are practical, enjoy problem-solving, and have an interest in technical systems and machines.

Additionally, we would like you to have:

• Experience in mechanical maintenance and repairs.
• Good knowledge of reading technical drawings and mechanical components.
• Experience in industrial service or work in a workshop environment.
• Good computer skills for documentation and reporting.
• Driver's license (B) is an advantage but not a requirement for all employers.
• Knowledge in electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems is a plus.
