About the role as a process leader

As a process leader, your main task is to plan and drive local development initiatives for warehouse operations and logistics at ICA Kungälv. You are responsible for creating business cases and initiatives that you shape into projects that you then lead yourself or together with employees and managers within the warehouse and logistics operations. The projects vary in nature and size and can involve everything from system implementation to corrections in routines or larger and more comprehensive projects. The focus of your work is on change management, where you play a very important role in developing existing operational work methods and approaches with regard to quality, productivity, and work environment. The business is on a digitalization journey, and as a process leader, you will be a key player in this work.

You will be part of a team of four process leaders, but you will primarily collaborate and work closely with the business's employees and managers. You will also be part of a central national forum with process leaders from other logistics and warehouse units where you exchange experiences and success stories.

The warehouse in Kungälv is one of ICA's five warehouse units that supply Sweden's ICA stores with food and products. Approximately 700 employees work in Kungälv, and our workplace is characterized by high engagement, warmth, and compassion. The warehouse unit has a breakfast and lunch restaurant as well as a well-equipped gym.

Are you the one we are looking for?

For this role, we are looking for someone with documented experience in project management where you have been responsible for all parts of the project – from planning to resource allocation and execution. You may have worked with change management and preferably have experience with various digital initiatives and projects. We would like you to have a basic understanding of Lean and experience working in an agile manner. It is a significant advantage if you have experience working in warehousing and logistics.

For this position, we are looking for someone who is skilled at planning, organizing, and leading projects and people. You thrive in a role where you can take your own initiatives and develop processes and working methods, but in very close collaboration with employees and the business. It is very important that you have good communication skills and are humble in your approach to driving change and development.
